A Gold Coast Classic, a Hammer and a Shocker

   
The Gold Coast Classic will be held in the Schreiber High School Gym, 100 Campus Drive, Port Washington, New York. 113 entries from 9 clubs will compete in Junior through Master categories hosted by Friends of Port Rowing. Individuals will erg 1500m pieces while teams of 4 will relay a 2000m race. The team with the most points overall will be awarded a trophy named for founding member of the Friends of Port Rowing, Monika Dorman.

In Westmont, New Jersey, the Haddon Hammers: NJ Indoor Rowing Championships will be hosted by the Haddon Twp Crew Club. 217 entries from 16 clubs are expected at Haddon Township High School in the Lower Gym. Rowers erg 2000m, Coxswains erg 1000m. The team with the best boat of the day (comprised of 2 seniors, juniors, sophomores freshman) will receive the High School Championship Award, The Haddon Hammer. Model D ergs will be available for purchase at the discounted price of $825.

The Shocker Sprints will be held in Wichita, Kansas. Wichita State University Rowing Team will host 25 entries from 4 clubs at Heskett Center.

The 17th Annual Peninsula Indoor Rowing Championships, a CRASH-B Satellite event will be held at Canada College in Redwood City, California. A whooping 517 entries from 28 clubs in Master, Open, Collegiate, Junior, Coxswain and Adaptive categories will be hosted by Peninsula Aquatic Center Junior Crew, established in 2002 and the Stanford Rowing Center. 

Ergzilla will be held at 11 Charter Road, Acton Massachusetts in the McCarthy-Towne and Merriam School cafeteria.  Master, Open, Collegiate and Junior entries will be hosted by the Bromfield Acton-Boxborough Rowing Team.

Also in Massachusetts, the Southcoast Indoor Rowing Festival will be held in New Bedford, 181 Hillman Street to be precise.  Master,  Open, High School, Invite,  Junior and Novice competitors will be hosted by the New Bedford Rowing Center.

The  Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships will be held at  Hershey Centre, 5500 Rose Cherry Place, Mississauga, Ontario. The Canadian Indoor Rowing Association will host a grand 743 entries from 83 clubs to the CRASH-B Satellite event. Concept2 Model D ergs will be available for purchase at “used one day” pricing.
