Dad Vail and Patriot League Regattas

   

The Dad Vail Regatta will start today, Friday the 13th and continue through tomorrow on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Dad Vail, established in 1934 is the largest collegiate regatta in the country. The Dad Vail Regatta Organizing Committee will host 428 entries from 104 clubs. The regatta is named for Harry Emerson “Dad” Vail, crew coach at the University of Wisconsin–Madison from 1912 to 1928. 

  The ACC Rowing Championships will also be held today and tomorrow for collegiate rowers in Clemson, South Carolina. For live feed check HERE.

The Patriot League Championship, a collegiate invitational regatta will also be held today on Lake Quinsigamond in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Quinsigamond Rowing Association will host 25 entries from 9 clubs.
