Challenge West/BC Championships 2016 and Henley Masters Regatta 2016

In Canada, Challenge West/BC Championships start today at 12pm in Victoria, BC for Master, Open, Collegiate, Adaptive, Junior, Novice and International entries hosted by Victoria City Rowing Club. 


There will be 591 entries from 28 clubs on the majestic Elk Lake. The 1850m race course runs from boat holding platforms on the the northwest side of Elk Lake finishing between the Victoria City Rowing Club Boat House and Pat Bay Highway at Eagle Beach. The regatta will be held over the next three days with finals on Sunday,  June 10.

In British Rowing, Henley Masters Regatta 2016 will be held over the next two days in the Thames region hosted by the Upper Thames Rowing Club. The 1000m Masters regatta was established in 1994 on Henley Reach and is traditionally held the week after the Henley Royal Regatta.
