Nareg Guregian and Anders Weiss finished with the best time yesterday morning of 6:21.10 taking their place on the 2016 Olympic Rowing Team roster pending US Olymic Committee approval.

What’s extraordinary about Guregian and Weiss is that both tried for the Men’s 8 at Lucerne in May. Steadfast for a chance to row in Rio, West Coast Guregian from North Hills, California paired with East Coast Anders Weiss of Barrington, Rhode Island for their last hope and last chance at the Olympic Trials II on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey. With a shared goal and 5 weeks of practice getting to done earned the newly formed pair one sweet reward.
